Services + Pricing

The possibilities are endless, but here's a good place to start.

The framework below should help inform basic pricing structure, but every event and situation is unique. If you have an idea or a need that you don't see listed here, or you are curious how to make paying for your event planning more accessible, let's talk! There may be ways we can help.

Good Stuff Events is committed to supporting Queer and Trans people; Black, Brown, Indigenous, and People of Color; People with Disabilities; and anyone who is part of a systemically marginalized group.  We are committed to causes and organizations which subvert, resist, and dismantle racism, sexism, misogyny, bigotry, hate, and discrimination of all kinds. If you are an individual with a marginalized identity or a group committed to these causes, please reach out -- we will work hard to meet your needs and make our services extra accessible to those who typically experience more barriers.

Weddings & Celebrations

For many people, weddings are the biggest party they'll ever throw. Which tier below is correct for you depends on your budget and how much time and work you are able to put in during the months leading up to your event. Within each tier, your price point will depend on how many elements and details you need a Coordinator to handle or oversee.

Full Service Coordination: $5,000 - $10,000

You meet with your Coordinator to tell them what you want, and they make it happen. At this level, the Coordinator handles a lion's share of the labor and production for you. You are involved in making decisions, preparing yourself and your guests, and doing things only you can do (like talking to your family.) We recommend hiring at least 12 months prior to the event. Hiring 8 months prior is our minimum.

Standard Event Coordination: $3,000 - $5,000

This includes management of start-to-finish planning on all aspects of the wedding or celebration, and hires the Coordinator as your guide and mentor through the whole process. You will follow their instructions, use their resources and knowledge, work hard together, and create something beautiful. On the big day, the coordinator runs the show so you don't have to.  We recommend hiring at least 10 months prior to the event. Hiring 6 months prior is our minimum.

Day-of Coordination**: $500 - $1,500

You have (or will have) designed, hired, purchased and charted out most of what you need. You just need someone to check your work, orchestrate the timeline, coordinate the moving pieces, and make sure everything looks good and flows together smoothly on the big day. We recommend hiring for this at least 6 months prior to the event. Hiring 2 months prior is our minimum.

** Note: this pricing range also applies to small, informal private parties or ceremonies

"10/10 would recommend. Our group was two jobs and a half and she handled an entire 3 day conference... Everything that could go wrong did go wrong including a fire caused by the hotel. Alyssa handled all our crazy like a champ."

Festivals, Fundraisers,
Conferences, and Public Events

On average, it takes around 160 hours of work to properly plan, advertise, staff, and execute a one-day 300+ person event. To properly lead such an event, Good Stuff requires supplied dedicated staff/ volunteers and/ or the budget to hire people on to assist in leadership and on-site positions.

Keep in mind that the size and scope of these projects can vary greatly, so it's difficult to provide a price point without discussing details first.

Single-Day Event: $3,000 - $6,000

Providing leadership and planning for a group or individual presenting a one-day, large-scale (100+ person) event. Larger and more complex / involved projects (requiring marketing, website building, entertainment booking, volunteer recruitment, etc.) and those with low numbers of dedicated staff or volunteers to assist the coordinator will skew toward the upper end of this spectrum.

Multi-Day Event: $5,000 - $10,000 or above

Providing leadership and planning for a group or individual presenting a multi-day, large scale (100+ person) event- including festivals or conferences with multiple days of programming, overnight arrangements for guests, etc. There's really no upper limit on what this can entail, and pricing will scale accordingly.

In order to make pricing more accessible, a variety of payment solutions are available. For example: Pay a lower amount up front, plus a percentage of profit made during the event; bring on group members as staff to handle elements the Coordinator would otherwise need to, etc. This is flexible and open for discussion.

Hourly & Component Work

If you've already got someone running your event but would like to hire a competent, effective, flexible assistant or coordinator to manage a certain aspect of the project (i.e. volunteers; social media and marketing; entertainment; etc.) we have options for that, too. There are a variety of ways to set up this arrangement.

Hourly rate - $30/ hour

The base rate for an hourly work arrangement is $30/ hour, with a discount available for nonprofits.  With this option, the client is welcome to either set a defined number of hours at the beginning of the project (and work will stop/ be re-negotiated when that number of hours is reached) OR the project can be open-ended with a total number of hours worked logged and presented to the client at the conclusion of the project for payment.

Pre-set Payment - $1,000 - $4,000

It is often preferable to a client to set aside a pre-determined budget for these services, and rest assured that the coordinator will take care of whatever needs to be done to accomplish the tasks they've been assigned. This budget amount is determined through conversation with the client to understand the scope of work and context within which the work will take place.
